What is Physical Therapy?

We as Physical Therapists are Movement Specialists! Physical Therapists as defined by the American Physical Therapy Association "...are health care professionals who diagnose and treat individuals of all ages... who have medical problems or other health-related conditions that limit their abilities to move and perform functional activities in their daily lives." Every patient is individually examined based on their injury and a specific plan of care is developed that meets the patient’s needs to restore full function, mobility, and to prevent further or repeat injury.
